This is an original print (not a later reproduction) carefully cut from a Black & White Magazine dated March 18th 1899. It is about 15 inches by 10 inches, (approx 37cm by 25cm), and is very well printed on a good quality satin finish paper. This is much larger than the scanner, so the listing picture shows just 3 of the 4 pictures on the page. The scenes are Guard of Honour at Folkestone pier, 2 pictures of the vessel "Calais-Douvres", and the arrival of the royal train at Folkestone. It has a generous border, and the Black & White magazine header. This is a super piece of history over 100 years old with a great vintage look. The fine photos are by Lambert Weston & Son, and George Spicer. It is in excellent condition and would make a splendid framed item or collector's piece.
